GARDEN GROVE – Two suspects stole approximately 40 firearms from a gun shop after a smash-and-grab burglary. This happened on Thursday morning.| 12:16 AM | GARDEN GROVE – Two suspects made off with approximately 40 firearms after the smash and grab burglary of a gun store, early Thursday morning.

Whitten Sales, a gun-store located in the neighborhood, was the victim of the burglary. 12800 block of Valley View Street, around 12:16 AM.

The scene was discovered by units who arrived on the scene and found the front door had been smashed open. They concluded that a burglary had taken place.

Initial reports indicate two suspects entered the gun shop through the front door. They then fled with approximately 40 firearms taken from a safe.

Radio broadcasts described the criminal pair as white or Hispanic men aged between 30 and 40 years old wearing face masks.

Both suspects fled in separate BMW sedans. Police stated that the blue sedan was driven by the suspects, while the silver one was driven by them.

The OC Crime Lab is present at the crime scene to collect evidence.
