HART Opens the Door to a Whole new Performance Level with the 650 CFM leaf blower

HART’s first phase of lawn care equipment met the needs of homeowners with small to medium-size lawns with a focus on a low cost of entry. The brand’s latest phase focuses on higher performance. We were able to test the HART650 CFM leaf blower and see how far it has come.

  • Significant improvement in blowing power
  • Variable speed trigger and cruise control
  • Amazingly quiet operation
  • Brushless motor

  • No bare tooloption (yet).

HART 650 CFM Leaf Blower Performance

Blowing Force

HART packs a maximum of 600 CFM and 160 MPH in a package that is powered by a 240V battery and driven with a brushless motor. Those are much higher numbers than we saw with the first phase of HART’s lawn care line.

Our force meter showed that we reached 9.7 Newtons in high, and 16.3 Newtons using the turbo concentrator nozzle. After taking the nozzle off, it generated a higher blowing force of 9.8 Newtons in high and 17.1 Newtons when used in turbo. Considering the 550 CFM blower from last season hit just 14.0 Newtons, it’s a big improvement and brings HART up to a very relevant performance level compared to other brands.

Noise Level

HART also designed this blower as part the Ultra Quiet series. Where many battery-powered blowers we’ve tested run in the mid-80s to low 90s for decibel readings, HART registered just 72 decibels in high and 76 decibels in turbo. Those measurements are based on A-weighted, slow response and taken from our operator’s ear.

The HART 650 CFM leaf blower can be used even with a battery powered motor. It is extremely quiet. Only Ryobi’s 730 CFM blower has been close to the same level, measuring the exact same levels.

The kit comes with a 5.0Ah battery, so that’s what we used for our runtime tests. The blower ran for 20 minutes, 23 seconds in high setting. Turbo mode took it to 12 minutes, 5 seconds. For most post-mowing cleanup, that’s more than enough runtime. When it comes to corraling leaves, it’s just a matter of how much area you’re hoping to
